Biography:
The son of Academy Award-winning director Anthony Minghella (The English Patient) and Chinese choreographer Carolyn Choa, Max Minghella was born in London, England. He trained with the National Youth Theater in London.

When Max was 13, Matt Damon gave him a Super 8 video camera during the filming of The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), directed by his father. The boy toyed with it, mimicking scenes his dad was filming, but realized his heart was set on being in front of the camera.

A small role in Syriana (2005) as George Clooney's son followed. He played his first lead role in Art School Confidential (2006), as a young man who finds art school more daunting than he’d anticipated. In 2006, he filmed a role in Elvis and Anabelle, starring alongside Blake Lively and Mary Steenburgen. Since then he's appeared in several small budget films, including How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008), Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (2009) and Agora (2010).He currently lives in New York City, where he lives in a dorm and attends Columbia University.

Katy Perry Profile And Pictures 2012

Name: Katy Perry
Full Name: Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson
Place of Birth Date: October 25, 1984 (age 26)
Occupation: Singer, songwriter
We all know Katy Perry as the hot, colorful superstar she is today. Her signature look consists of scanty costumes, colorful wigs and outlandish make-up. She created a unique but stylish image for herself, ignoring any possible objections to her appearance or lyrics, and has become one of the big superstars of our time. However, Perry was not always the ostentatious woman she is now.

Perry’s career took off in 2008 with her scandalous song “I Kissed a Girl” and the even more provocative music video that followed. Soon after, she went on to release her first album, One of the Boys, followed by the second album, Teenage Dream. Perry continued to experiment with risqué lyrics in Teenage Dream, with songs mentioning threesomes and the showcasing of male genitalia.

Aside from turning heads with her music, Perry has also drawn her fans’ attention to her public image. She attempted to make an appearance on Sesame Street by singing “Hot N’ Cold” with Elmo, but due to parental retaliation against the cleavage her dress displayed, the scene was cut. Perry was successful, however, in her appearance alongside Simon Cowell in The X Factor, a British version of American Idol. Perry has also made various appearances on TV shows such as The Young and the Restless and MTV Unplugged.

For those who know only of Perry’s recent accomplishments, it may come as a shock Perry discovered her talents through church. Perry was born to an extremely religious family and was raised to follow their lifestyle. She was banned from listening to the suggestive music of our culture and was instead limited to gospels. She sang for the church (where her father was a pastor) for eight years, and tried to launch her career by releasing a gospel album in 2001, but failed. Perry then decided to spread her wings a little by removing her religious heritage from her work and adding a little spice in its place. The result was obviously successful, and Perry went on to become the superstar she is today.
